One to one support with managing money

  • If you need help setting up an accounts system that meets the needs of your group…
  • If your accounts are in a mess and you don’t know how to get things straight…
  • If your group has just received a grant for the first time, or you plan to start applying for grants…
  • If you want support with any aspect of managing money, tailored to your group’s needs...

…you might benefit from some free one-to-one support.

You can talk through the problem you’re facing and get immediate practical help with it. A worker can come to your home if that’s easier for you. If you need it, we can follow up with further support, or suggest other useful training and information.

For groups that are based in areas of social housing, ethnic minority community groups, and disabled people’s groups, this support is available from the Resource Centre. Just contact us to discuss your needs and book an appointment.

For other small groups (that is, not-for-profit groups with an annual income below £35,000), one-to-one support is available from Impact Initiatives. Call 322944 to book an appointment.

One to one support with managing money is available free for small groups in Brighton & Hove, thanks to funding from the Big Lottery Fund for the Money in Mind project.

If your group is not eligible for free support from the Money in Mind project, you may find useful information on the Managing Money page of the Support for Groups website.
