Brighton Energy Coop recently launched their new Community Fund: www.brightonenergy.org.uk/community-fund/. This year the fund is for £2,500, and is open for any organisation in the Brighton and Hove, East or West Sussex areas.
The aim of the fund is to support local generation of renewable electricity or implement energy efficiency measures, as has been the intention for BEC since they began. They are looking to receive applications by the end of November, with a decision mid December, and projects completed by March 2016.
