About the Laptop computer to hire
We have 3 different PC laptops. When you make a booking please tell us which one you would prefer.

Laptop 1: Toshiba Satellite
Widescreen
Suitable for video editing but NOT uploading video footage (ask for an external hard drive)
Ethernet cable for connecting to broadband

Laptop 2:
Widescreen
Suitable for video editing & uploading footage (ask for an external hard drive)
Has MS Access 2003 (not 2007)
Ethernet cable for connecting to broadband
Firewire port for downloading video footage

Laptop 3:
This laptop is older and cheaper to hire.
It is suitable for presentation and office applications, but not suitable for video editing
It doesn’t hold its charge very well so needs to be plugged in when you’re using it.


All of our laptops have 15" screens and have:
MS Office 2007 incl Publisher
Photoshop CS
Premier Elements video editing software
CD/DVD burning software
WiFi

  • Modem cable (Laptop 2)
  • External hard drive for storing video footage
  • Instructions


You need
  • A secure place to store the computer when you are not using it
  • Proof of ID when you collect it
