Aims of Fund

To deliver activities as part of Summer Pride, the city’s annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender festival

Please note: this fund is still to be confirmed for 2012.

Who can apply

Any organisation of any size organising activities as part of Summer Pride Day, the city's annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender festival in August.

How much and what can you apply for

Grants are usually under £500, however requests for up to £1,000 will be considered if a a clear explanation of need is provided. Grants are given to support activities either as part of the Carnival Parade or in Preston Park.

Total anticipated budget for 2012-13: Approx £6,000

Beachcomber is our online database of useful resources and services for groups in Sussex.  It contains contact details for people who can offer specialist help with running a group, as well as suppliers for practical resources and equipment.

Reference Library

We have a small reference library of books and information for community and voluntary groups.  Our full library catalogue is available online.  All groups are welcome to drop in and use the library, free of charge.

Front desk information service

If you have a question about running your group that is not answered here, you could try asking our front desk worker.  We will respond to your request within 7 days.  Contact us by phone (01273 606160), email, or by using our feedback form, or just drop in - we are here from 9am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday.
