Aims of Fund

To use profits from the Robin Hood pub to fund local community groups and activities.

Who can apply

Any groups based in Brighton and Hove.

How much and what can you apply for

There are no set criteria. However, the focus is very definitely on anything that will benefit local people in Brighton and Hove. Awards tend to be for around £1000.

Awards have previously been made to:

  • Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project
  • Castledean Special School
  • The Sussex Beacon
  • St Mary Magdalene's Primary School
  • The Moulsecoomb Boxing Project
  • Lioncare
  • Choices for Families of Children with Arthiritis
  • Puffin Pre School

How to apply

In writing or by personal contact. Send a letter explaining what your group does and what you would spend any money on that you received from Robin Hood Pubs. You can send leaflets or photos to support your application. More information on what you could include in your letter is our our Fundraising Applications Information Sheet

In the future there will be an application form, so it is worth checking this before you write.

Deadlines for application

There are no deadlines, but they meet to look at letters and award funding about twice a year.
