Aims of Fund
The Southern Housing Foundation runs several funds that aim to benefit residents of Southern Housing Group, including James Butcher Housing Association.
Who can apply
Groups of Southern Housing residents, or organisations that want to run projects that will benefit Southern Housing residents.
How much and what can you apply for
Small grants for Residents Groups
You can apply for grants of up to £2,000 towards the cost of running events and outings for the community.
You will need to raise some of the money from elsewhere to 'match' any funding provided by Southern Housing.
Grants for external organisations
You can apply for a grant of up to £5,000 for activities that benefit Southern Housing Group residents and the wider community. Your project must contribute to one or more of the Foundation project themes, which are:
- Young people
- Capacity Building (of both individuals and communities, to create opportunities for residents)
- External environment and green spaces
- Community safety
- Older people
- Financial inclusion
- Education and Training
