Cash for Clubs

Aims of Fund

To give clubs a unique chance to improve facilities, purchase new equipment, gain coaching qualifications, and generally invest in the sustainability of their club.

Who can apply

Any sports club can apply as long as they are registered with their sports National Governing Body or local authority.

  • Angmering Gymnastics, West Sussex

How much and what can you apply for

There are three tiers of grants at £250, £500 and £1,000.

You can apply for funding for kits, equipment, court or pitch improvements, coaching qualifications or anything that will keep your club sustainable.

Complete the online application form.

Deadlines for application

There are no deadlines, but the panel meets quarterly, so you could wait up to 4 months for a decision. You can check the website or email them to check when the next panel meeting will be.

Beachcomber

Beachcomber is our online database of useful resources and services for groups in Sussex.  It contains contact details for people who can offer specialist help with running a group, as well as suppliers for practical resources and equipment.

Reference Library

We have a small reference library of books and information for community and voluntary groups.  Our full library catalogue is available online.  All groups are welcome to drop in and use the library, free of charge.

Front desk information service

If you have a question about running your group that is not answered here, you could try asking our front desk worker.  We will respond to your request within 7 days.  Contact us by phone (01273 606160), email, or by using our feedback form, or just drop in - we are here from 9am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday.
