Aims of Fund

The next Brighton Soup event has a youth focus – Young Founders Pitch Night. is a special collaboration between BrightonSoup and three fantastic organisations – YouthTheGapWild Purpose and the Enjoolata Foundation.

Who can apply

As the September event is focusing on young changemakers, you must be aged 18 to 30 to apply.

How much and what can you apply for

If your idea is shortlisted, you will be invited to present it at a Brighton Soup Event. The people attending will vote on which idea should be funded. The funds awarded are raised through event tickets and donations, the winning projects are getting about £1,000. The runners up also get a small contribution of around £100/150 – dependent on ticket sales.

Brighton Soup evenings are run 3-4 times a year.

They hold an open ‘pitch training’ events leading up to each Brighton Soup evening
