How much and what can you apply for

You can request a donation of any type of product that is stocked at Coop shops, to be used for an event or activity that benefits the local community.

Their website says: “whether you are a lunch club who needs lettuces, a PTA offering prizes or hosting an afternoon tea with no cake, our colleagues can help”. They suggest you might request products like tea, coffee, wine, Fairtrade, healthy eating, fresh fruit, or Easter eggs.

The volume of the donation is at the discretion of the local store manager. The event or activity must be local to the store you are sending the request to.

How to apply

Print and complete the application form, then take it to the nearest Southern Coop food store or funeralcare branch. You can find the store most local to your event/activity using their store locator.

Deadlines for application

We hope you find this page useful. Would you like to make a donation?

All Resource Centre information is available for free because we know small community groups have small budgets. However, we are a small charity, so if you are in a position to make a donation, it will help us to keep running this service into the future.
