Aims of Fund

To provide support to charities or causes that “make a difference to the world we live in and the people that occupy it.” In particular, charities or causes that mean something to Clarity’s members, staff, suppliers or customers. Clarity is based in Brighton.

Who can apply

Charity donations will look to support (but will not be limited to) charities that are in the following sectors:

  • Health
  • Disability
  • Animals and wildlife
  • Environment
  • Social welfare
  • Education

For a charity to be considered by the donation committee, it must meet the following criteria:

  • The organisation fits with our mission and company values.
  • The organisation does not promote a religious, political or social agenda.
  • The organisation is run ethically and operates good governance practices.

How much and what can you apply for

Charities or community groups can recommend themselves, or particular projects, via an online form. Clarity Environmental’s donation committee will consider the recommendation and decide whether to donate and/or how much to donate.

Deadlines for application

No deadlines. Clarity’s internal charity committee meet four times a year to decide on the causes, charities or projects that they will support each quarter.
